Taisha is the Founder and Principal Lawyer at Taisha Lewis Professional Corporation. As an award-winning corporate commercial lawyer, she specializes in helping businesses level up. Before launching the firm, Taisha was a Partner at an international Bay Street business law firm where she acted for some of Canada's largest banks and businesses on some of the nation's most high profile matters as well as everyday corporate matters.
Outside of her practice, Taisha is passionate about giving back to her community. She is a mentor, cheerleader and coach to women lawyers of colour, and serves as a director for Dance Collection Danse—a not-for-profit dedicated to preserving Canada’s dance heritage.
Humble Brag: Taisha has been featured in Canadian Lawyer Magazine, received a 40 Under 40 Award from the National Bar Association, and was recognized as an Influential Black Canadian by Deloitte. She was also named One to Watch in Securities Law in Toronto by Best Lawyers in Canada 2022.
When she is not lawyering, Taisha finds herself dancing, weight lifting, hanging with friends and family, pouring over a good book, exploring a new city, or trying new restaurants with her husband.
